Peter Woodward Short field landings and takeoffs in the C-130 is very hard for me.
Norm Richards Will give you this one as your very close stalls could have been fatal!! Short airfields can definitely be a tough task in a c130 or larger airfield as you need a higher airspeed. Get the numbers right, a bigger aircraft, you need to maintain a higher airspeed and can't climb to fast..gentle and steady climb will gain you airspeed without stalling.
