Peter Woodward I lost speed too soon.
Peter Woodward I have been experimenting with different flap and speed settings. I ended up slowing down too much, got below glide slope and had a hard time recovering. I am having some trouble setting up approaches when they are not straight in. I am doing thing different than I used to do.
Norm Richards Yup you have to maintain enough airspeed to hold glide slope and to avoid stalls.. It can be hard to recover and get back into proper position without having to make another approach! Np, and we are all learning..
